How It Works

Steps to Use Click & Collect

  • Shop online at our website and choose the products you want to purchase.
  • If the products are available for lock pickups, at the checkout page, you can choose your local store as your delivery method.
  • You will receive an SMS notification or phone call once your order is ready to collect.
  • Collect your order at the designated pickup location from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Bring your tax invoice or order number, a photo ID, and the credit card used for payment.

Notes:

  • While we strive to accommodate same-day collection, we cannot guarantee that your order will be ready for pickup on the same day. Some products may be located in different places. We encourage you to call us to verify product availability and obtain an estimated pickup time before placing your order. We will notify you as soon as your order is ready for pickup.
  • All products are delivered disassembled in original packaging, but we offer free assembly. If you need assembly for an e-bike, contact us in advance, as this may affect pickup availability.

What is Click & Collect?

Click & Collect is a service allowing you to order products online and pick them up in person from a designated Ridewave Bikes warehouse.

Where can I pick up my order?

Orders placed in Melbourne, VIC, and Sydney, NSW, may qualify for Click & Collect if the corresponding Ridewave Bikes warehouses have the requested products in stock.

What do I need to bring with me to the store when I collect my order?

Please bring your proof of purchase, a photo ID, and the credit or debit card used for the transaction. Your proof of purchase can be either a printed confirmation email or a digital version displayed on your mobile device.

What are the collection hours, and are weekends or holidays available for pickup?

Collection is available Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but order pickups are commonly not permitted on weekends or public holidays in Melbourne VIC or Sydney NSW. However, If you really need to arrange a pickup outside regular hours, please contact us in advance to discuss possibilities.

What do I need to bring with me to the store when I collect my order?

Can I collect my order on the same day?

Can someone else pick up my order for me?

To safeguard against theft and fraud, only the customer who placed the order is permitted to collect it. Valid identification that matches the order details is required for verification.

Can I send a courier to collect my order?

Unfortunately, we cannot permit couriers to collect orders on your behalf, as identification must be presented at the time of collection.

Can I pay for my order when I pick it up?

Payment must be completed online before your order can be collected, as per the Click & Collect process. However, you’re welcome to call us to check product availability at your local warehouse, where you can pick up the item and make your payment in person. Please note that we do not hold items for customers unless full payment for the order has been made.

Order Modifications and Issues

Can I modify my Click & Collect order before pickup?

You can change your Click & Collect order by calling us or emailing hello@ridewavebikes.com prior to collection. Please note this may delay your pickup.

Can I change my Click & Collect order to be delivered instead?

Yes, Click & Collect orders can be switched to delivery to your designated address. However, an additional delivery surcharge may apply based on your order value or if the delivery address is in remote areas or islands.

Why am I unable to place my Click & Collect order?

Some items may not be available at your chosen pickup location. Additionally, one or more items might not qualify for Click & Collect.

Pickup and Assembly

How long do I have to pick up my order?

You have 7 days from the date your order is available for collection to pick it up. If not collected within this time, your order may be canceled, and a full refund will be issued, minus a restocking fee and any applicable charges from your payment method. Please note that we have limited storage space for assembled bikes, so we kindly ask you to collect your bike within 7 days of receiving notification that it is ready.

Will my products be assembled and ready to use?

We want to ensure you receive your ordered products just the way you like! By default, they'll arrive disassembled in their original packaging. However, if you'd prefer, we can assemble and set them up for you at no extra cost—just keep in mind this might slightly delay their availability.

Can I pick up part of my order before everything is ready?

You will be notified when your entire order is ready for pickup. If a specific product is out of stock, we may contact you to collect the available items, and you could be eligible for a refund, alternative product, or store credit for any unavailable items.

What happens if I pre-order a bike for in-store collection?

The process is similar to standard Click & Collect. The main distinction is that with a pre-order, you receive an estimated arrival date for the bike at the warehouse. Once the bike arrives, it usually takes 3 to 7 working days for it to be prepared for in-store pickup, depending on whether you need assembly assistance.
