Miniwave Folding Ebike

We have purchased two Miniwave bikes after thorough research of available foldable bikes. These bikes ticked all the boxes for our requirements of use and Ethan was good help in providing additional info we especially like how easy they are to fold, being relatively compact are comfortable to ride and durable,
While they are great around the town , our main use is " off road" we take them in our motorhome on our trips around the country
I highly recommend these to anyone who like us need to fit them in to motorhomes

I’ve had my MiniWave for about a month now and honestly couldn’t be happier. It rides so smoothly and folds up in seconds — super handy for apartment living. The build feels solid and the battery easily lasts me a week of short trips.

What really stood out though was the customer service. The Ridewave team were so patient answering all my questions before I ordered, and even followed up after delivery to check how everything was going. It’s rare to get that kind of care these days. Highly recommend both the bike and the people behind it!

I love the low seat position of this bike, it gives me more confidence to ride as I know my feet can touch the ground whenever I need. It is also very easy to ride, the power kicks in very quickly and the handle bar is very comfy.

The bike is of good quality, everything on bike feels solid, this bike meets all my expectations. Also received really good customer service both before and after purchase from Ethan.

This bicycle boasts exceptional quality and meticulous craftsmanship. The relatively thick tires enable it to tackle diverse terrains with ease. Moreover, the after-sales service team stands out with their friendly attitude, and they are highly proactive in assisting customers with problem-solving.

Reasons to Buy:
Compact size with a step-over frame to allow easier mounting and dismounting - useful when my older hips are not so flexible anymore.
The step-over frame allows my wife to ride it as well, without the unlady-like leg lift when mounting and dismounting the bike.
The folding design allows me to put the bike into our SUV so it can be easily taken anywhere. The bonus is it is out of the weather while travelling and secure when stopped in a shopping centre or on the street.

Owning and Riding
The assembly out of the well-packaged box was straightforward and did not take long.
The 250W motor provides plenty of power. When teamed with the 48V, 10.4AH battery, the range is very very good. When the motor is unlocked to 500W for off road adventures, there is more than enough power for any sane rider.
The Shimano 8-speed gears are a delight to use and much easier than previous versions I’ve used on older bicycles I’ve owned.
The hydraulic disc brakes work very well. If you are tossing up between mechanical or hydraulic brakes, choose the hydraulic version - you will not be sorry.
The 3” wide tyres provide good stability and ride quality.
The saddle is surprisingly comfortable.

In conclusion, I can recommend the Ridewave MiniWave Folding Ebike as a quality, reasonably priced bike.
Make sure it’s on your shortlist to buy.

I am extremely happy with the Ridewave MiniWave E-Bike. It arrived well packaged and was easy to set up even for someone in their seventies like me.
Initially, it wasn’t my first choice, mainly due to the lack of YouTube reviews specific to Australia. I was also skeptical about some of the performance claims, as they seemed a bit exaggerated. My wife has owned an E-Bike for some time, and I’ve had an electric scooter myself, but neither of those lived up to the advertised specs in real world conditions.
What ultimately changed my mind was discovering a number of YouTube videos about a nearly identical e-bike sold in Germany under the name Deruiz Peridot. The videos were detailed and informative, and one in particular a seventy-kilometer test ride really sold me on its potential.
Now that I’ve had the chance to ride the Ridewave Mini myself, I can confidently say it has far exceeded my expectations in every way.

Recently purchased a miniwave

Great Ride to cruise by the waves on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and its street legal so I don't have to worry about the crack down on Non Compliant E-Bikes. Heaps of power to get my generous body up the hills. All I need is the optional Rear Basket to wade down to the shops for the odd supplies and It would be perfect. When I get one I'll send you another review and photo of how ell it fits in. Well done Ridewave a great bike.

Exactly as advertised.
Well designed folding E bike very good suspension with the fat tyres with plenty of power makes for a comfortable ride and I would like to add that I am a 100kg male.
I use mine to daily commute to work about 10km a day and it handles all terrain quite well i love it.

The Current-Based-Cadence-System is by far the most user-friendly, intuitive, PAS of the five e-bikes of various brands we’ve owned previously.

The CBCS eliminates the customary surging of the usual stepped Pedal Assist Systems, which can cause loss of control for the unwary rider
when slow manoeuvring, if too high a PAS level is set.

The 3” wide tyres are just the right width to handle all surfaces.

The retaining strap prevents the folded bike from flopping open when loading into a vehicle. It does take some precise positioning of the front fork to enable the webbing strap to snap into place.

We bought one Miniwave to try out, then another once we were both happy with the bike.
