Miniwave Folding Ebike

I’ve been riding my new e-bike for a few weeks now and it has completely changed my daily commute. The ride is smooth, quiet, and surprisingly powerful when going up hills. What I love most is how natural the pedal assist feels—it still feels like cycling, just with the perfect boost when you need it.

The battery life has been excellent as well. I can easily cover my regular trips during the week without worrying about charging all the time. It’s also incredibly comfortable and stable, even on longer rides.

Overall, it’s been a fantastic experience. It makes getting around faster, more fun, and much less tiring. I’d definitely recommend an e-bike to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable way to commute or explore the city.

I needed a foldup ebike to take travelling in our caravan. This ebike fits all the criteria - it's light weight, easy to foldup and rides extremely well with the thicker 3" tyres. It looks great and well balanced while I am riding it. Ethan from Ridewave was so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this company and this ebike.

This is such a surprise package of an e-bike. I'm using it instead of driving our second car, in a mix of street, cycle path and train travel. There's plenty of power and perfect gearing for quick acceleration to join other traffic and to climb ramps and hills. So far I have ranged by Miniwave and train links from Parramatta and adjacent suburbs to Hornsby and Sydney CBD (26km) with ease. It is such an enjoyable, economical (no petrol, tolls or fines!) and trouble free way to get around greater Sydney! Plus, everyone seems to love the bike and the colour!
The compact dimensions make the the Miniwave an easy fit when catching the train, folding into the boot of our Tesla Model 3, riding a lift, or sitting at the local Cafe. Manoeuvring on cycle paths and in crowded pedestrian areas is a breeze. For night travel, the lights are excellent. With the usual cycling wet-weather gear, e-biking in light and moderate rain has been very comfortable too.
The luggage racks are light, capacious and sturdy. A caution here is that the front rack is fixed to the bike frame, limiting bike folding, and restricting manoeuvrability in confined spaces, so we are removing it for general use.
Overall, I am extremely happy with the Miniwave, and with the opportunities it opens up for enjoying Sydney by e-bike.

The whole experiance of my e-bike purchase has been seamless and upon arrival of my bike, I was amazed at the build quality. The performance also has been excellent but most of all, I feel confident when riding. My miniwave is perfect for my 10km to/from daily work commute, which the battery easily lasts for the week and more. I chose the Miniwave because of its lower profile which is not at all any compromise in performance. Best of all, the Miniwave easliy folds down to a convienient size for the caravan travels. The cargo rack accessories integrate realy well and are effortless to use. My Miniwave in the Aqua colour (my favourite colour) certainly draws attention and I often get queried and complemented on the bike. I even went to the trouble to souce a new helmet in almost the exact same colour! I love my Miniwave and I highly recommend this bike to anyone considering an e-bike, even if they dont need it to be folding.

Ordered miniwave on 24 Dec 2025 about midday and asked for miracle delivery to Brisbane no later than 2nd Jan 2026. I can't remember name of person at Ride wave but he promised he would do his best. WELL HE DID. I received bike 10:00 am 29 th Dec. Bloody brilliant.
I am 72 years old and have ridden about 120 ks so far and absolutely love this bike. The only negative so far is my sore arse from not riding a bike for over 40 years. However this is improving.
I have never given a 5 star to any other product in my life before.

My wife and I purchased two MiniWaves and we absolutely love riding them around the Sunshine Coast. We get great distances from the battery and they are easy to use. They fit comfortably in the rear of our Nissan Qashqai as well.

WOW! Way above my expectations. This is a seriously beautiful e-bike, my wife loves her new ride. Smooth ride, plenty quick enough, easy to fold up & store. Just awesome.
