Understanding Estimated Dispatch Windows

Preorder delivery timing can be affected by production schedules, vessel availability, weather, port operations, customs processing and transport to our warehouse. For that reason, we provide estimated dispatch windows rather than promising an exact arrival or dispatch date before the shipment is ready.

The timeline becomes more reliable once the container has been loaded and the vessel schedule is confirmed. If the estimated window for your model changes, we will update this page and email affected preorder customers directly. Why is my model not at the same stage as another Ridewave preorder?

Different models, colours or preorder periods can be supplied and shipped in separate batches. Please refer to the update listed for your specific model.

What does the estimated dispatch window mean?

It is our best verified estimate for when orders in that batch will leave the Ridewave warehouse. It is not the same as the final carrier delivery date to your address, and it can change before the shipment is ready.

When will the estimated dispatch window be most reliable?

The timeline becomes more reliable once the container has been loaded and the vessel schedule is confirmed. Before then, the expected window is based on the best available production information and can still change.

How often will Ridewave update this page?

We update the page when a verified shipment milestone changes. We also email affected customers when their shipment reaches key stages, including departure, sea freight, customs processing, arrival at our warehouse and readiness for dispatch or collection.

Will I receive an email when my preorder is ready?

Yes. We will email affected preorder customers as their shipment progresses and send your normal dispatch confirmation with tracking once your individual order leaves our warehouse.

Why can I not see my individual tracking number yet?

This page shows the progress of the incoming shipment for your model. Your individual carrier tracking is created and emailed once your own order has been dispatched from the Ridewave warehouse.

My order includes an accessory. Will it ship with my preorder?

Accessories may ship with your electric bike or trike, or separately, depending on the items in your order and stock availability. Refer to the tracking details for each order item once dispatched.

Will I receive an email when my preorder is ready?
