The Urban eBike – iGO Special Edition is a refined urban ebike built for smooth city commuting and relaxed everyday riding. Designed on a balanced hybrid urban frame, it delivers a confident and comfortable ride that feels natural in real-world urban conditions.
At the heart of this urban ebike is a responsive mid-drive motor, delivering smooth and efficient power directly through the drivetrain. This mid-drive system provides better weight distribution, improved climbing performance, and a more natural pedalling feel compared to hub motors — ideal for stop-start traffic and varied city terrain.
Customisable pedal assist levels allow riders to fine-tune support for commuting, errands, or longer leisure rides, while maintaining excellent efficiency. The robust frame design and integrated safety features ensure durability and stability for daily use.
Paired with a high-capacity battery, the Urban eBike offers an impressive riding range of up to 110km under optimal conditions, reducing the need for frequent charging. Shipping & Delivery
Ridewave ships eligible e-bikes, e-trikes, accessories, and parts Australia-wide from Vermont VIC 3133. Free AU shipping applies to eligible orders over $100, while eligible orders under $100 usually have a flat $10 shipping fee, subject to remote-area, island, and freight-review exclusions.
- In-stock orders are usually processed Monday to Friday, with tracking sent after fulfilment.
- E-bikes and e-trikes are bulky freight items, so delivery timing can vary by postcode, suburb, product size, carrier capacity, and remote-area handling.
- Some regional, remote, island, or high-freight areas may need manual review before dispatch. If a surcharge applies, our team will contact you before the order proceeds.
- Click & Collect is available from Ridewave showrooms. Sydney pickup may require stock transfer from Melbourne before collection.

Warranty
Ridewave provides a 1-year limited warranty on eligible products against manufacturing faults and defects under normal intended use. Warranty assessment depends on the product, purchase date, issue type, usage, assembly, maintenance, and review by the Ridewave team.
- Eligible warranty claims may involve replacement parts, repair support, or another appropriate solution after assessment.
- Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, tyre punctures, misuse, water damage, unauthorised modifications, improper assembly, lack of maintenance, crash damage, or third-party repairs completed without written approval.
- Please keep your proof of purchase and submit photos or videos when making a warranty claim, as Ridewave reviews evidence before approving warranty outcomes.
- Warranty support is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Returns & Refund
Eligible change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days of purchase in line with Ridewave's return policy. Returned items must be unopened, unused, unassembled, undamaged, in original packaging, and approved by Ridewave before being sent back.
- Please contact Ridewave before returning any item. Our team will review the request and provide return instructions if the return is approved.
- Opened, assembled, used, ridden, damaged, or altered products are not accepted for change-of-mind returns by default.
- Return shipping costs, original shipping costs, restocking fees, refused-shipment costs, and payment processing fees may be deducted where applicable.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Ocean at Ridewave was very helpful, letting me test ride a couple of bikes in the local park to make sure I chose the right one. The UrbanWave is a fantastic bike. I’m 5’10”, and the fit is super comfortable. The ride is smooth and silent, thanks to its chunky tires and plush suspension. It feels solid and well-built.
The well tuned Ananda mid-drive motor gives my legs have superpowers—almost without me noticing. It flattens hills and rail overpasses effortlessly. I’m surprised at how quickly I get up to speed and how fast I travel for so little effort.
I commute 20 km each way into the city, and this bike makes the ride an absolute breeze. I can adjust the power to stay in zone 2 heart rate and arrive at work (and back home) feeling energised, not exhausted. If I’m short on time or feeling lazy, I can crank the power and cruise in without breaking a sweat—or needing a shower. It does have an off-road mode that can hit 46 km/h, though that’s not exactly practical or safe for regular use.
Around town, in power level 1 or 2, I’m usually riding at road-bike speeds—27 to 36 km/h—but with far less effort. Even fully loaded with two panniers, at low power, I can keep pace with my road-bike friends. At this level, I get about 80 km of range. To get the stated 110km, you'd have to be pretty frugal and restrained. If I bump it up to power level 3, I use virtually no energy and shave 5 minutes off my commute, though the range drops to around 60 km. It has an optional throttle which I fit but I'm not so lazy that I've used it in earnest.
The pros:
• Quality build
• Silent, smooth and comfortable
• Huge range
• Easily unlocked for amazing off-road speed
• Great torque - it floats over hills
• Natural power delivery
• Has a throttle, which is unusual for a mid drive bike
• Looks nice with its silver and black colour scheme
There are a few downsides:
• The front light is adequate but could be brighter.
• Secondary data - like cadence - on the LCD is too small to read while riding.
• No Bluetooth or app (not needed)
• The disc brakes will wear quick
• The reflectors made a loud creaking noise, that was easy to fix.
• IGO in Canada has gone bust, but Ridewave has a parts relationship with the original Chinese manufacturer.
On balance, this is a one-of-a-kind bike for the Aussie market, and I’m absolutely thrilled to own it. At this price it's an absolute steal. Thanks Ridewave!

Great solid bike. Impressive motor torque . Climbed every hill I encounterd. Flexible wattage can be set to 250 Watts to be in line with Australian traffic law. Good battery range , good sunspension , excellent brakes and tires. Pleasure to use. Prompt Ridewave staff always ready to help and advice.
