Order Cancellation
Cancellation of Orders. Due to the speed at which we process orders (as quickly as possible), you must cancel your order within 60 minutes of placing your order. If you do not cancel your order within 60 minutes of placing the order, we cannot change it. Please make your selections carefully and reach out to our team for guidance to ensure you are choosing the right item.
If over 60 minutes have passed since placing your order, we cannot guarantee its cancellation, as it may have already been dispatched or picked up by the courier.
Merchant processing fees
If you ask us to cancel an order after we have captured funds
will not be refunded if the return is for a change of mind. However, this must be clearly communicated to the customer before purchase.
Card or Merchant Processing Fee
For orders paid using PayPal, any applicable PayPal fees incurred by Ridewave Bikes at the time of purchase are non-refundable. Therefore, while customers will receive a full refund of the purchase price, the merchant fee charged by PayPal will not be reimbursed to Ridewave Bikes.
If you request to cancel an order after we have processed your payment—whether through a credit/debit card, PayPal account, or financing options like Afterpay, Zip, or Humm—please be aware that these third-party payment gateways do not reimburse us for the merchant fees incurred when issuing a refund. Consequently, we will deduct the following merchant processing fees from your refund to cover these costs:
- Visa or Mastercard: 1.6% of the total order value
- American Express: 2.8% of the total order value
- PayPal: 3% of the total order value
- Afterpay: 6.6% of the total order value
- Zip: 6.6% of the total order value
- Humm: 6.6% of the total order value
