I got the MiniWave for my dad, and overall, it’s been a great purchase. The bike is very easy to assemble—just install the handlebar, and it’s ready to go. It rides smooth and stable, making it great for daily commuting, and the new batch now includes a throttle, which makes things even easier for those who don’t like pedaling too much. Since it folds up nicely, storage and transport are super convenient.
That said, the waiting time for preorders can be long since these bikes sell out quickly. Also, unfortunately, the rear rack basket is not included in the product packaging and is an add-on accessory that costs $150. It’s a very handy addition, especially for grocery runs, so I wish it came as a standard feature. Overall, a solid folding ebike with great features, but a few small improvements could make it even better!

Been riding my MiniWave Folding Electric Bike for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it! It folds up in seconds, which makes it super easy to store at home or pop in the car boot for trips. Even though it’s compact, it feels really sturdy, and the fat tyres make the ride smooth and stable, even on rough paths.
The battery life is amazing—on level 1 assistance, I’ve been getting around 100km per charge in real-world conditions, including hills, wind, and stop-start riding. The pedal assist is so natural, making longer rides effortless and really enjoyable.
I also got the rear rack saddle and storage basket as optional add-ons, and they’ve been a game-changer. The rack is super sturdy, the saddle is comfy for a passenger, and the basket is perfect for groceries or carrying my bag when I’m out and about.
Honestly, this bike has been such a great investment—it’s practical, fun to ride, and makes getting around so much easier. Couldn’t be happier with it!
