Climb Your Mountain

As a 70 yr old male, maintaining my fitness is very important to me. My 24 yr old road bike has served me well however, I can no longer go as far or as high as I used to go. With the technology built into this mountain bike, I can go where I used to go and a lot more. I can decide how hard a workout I want to do by adjusting how much battery powered assistance I want to use. Assembling the bike was quite easy. The higher center of gravity (compared to my road bike) has not taken long to get used to as has the difference in steering input. The brakes are excellent and the power boost smooth. I can go for a 'cruise', workout, climb my personal 'mountain' or ride on any dirt track that I have never ridden on before. My grandson and son-in-law love it.
For me it has been worth the investment for the enjoyment it brings in riding it.

Igo Outland Sawback from Ridewave..... Excellent Choice

I have been riding ebikes for many years now. I find this form of cycling much more enjoyable and I can get further off the beaten track compared to riding an analogue bike. The Igo Outland Sawback is very pleasant to ride and I find the pedal torque sensor gives me more control on trickier sections of uphill track compared to the cadence sensors I have been used to.
The bike feels very solid to ride and the brakes provide great confidence and a responsive feel.
The quick adjust seatpost is an added bonus.
I did a lot of research before deciding on the Igo and now having ridden it for a while I can say I am very satisfied and impressed with the product.
The staff at Ridewave have been awesome and very keen to assist with my questions.

better than a commuter bike!

I was persuaded to buy the Outland ebike by a friend, an ex Queensland MTB champion. Im more of a slow poke rider, i like to look around my cycling environment! Have had it for a few weeks and i am SO glad i purchased it. Reasons: 1) very powerful battery; steep hills in my area are a breeze. Ive used Boost just once or twice. The Tour setting with the right gearing just about covers everything on a city bike track. 2) Build quality. The build is superb. Not a rough edge anywhere, the welds are just perfect and the paint finish is excellent.
3) Computer. The ride computer is easy to read, nice and bright during the day. And the stats are easy to interpret. Also i like the fact that you can easil set a password..a nice bit of security.
4) Seat. Normally i suffer on a standard bike seat. However i have to confess that this one is fine. No pain at all even after a long ride.
5) Charging. Very simple. Its a real PlugnPlay setup. Not sure of the charging times but it seems reasonably fast.
6) Overall. I love this bike. It feels so comfotable and stable; and the brakes are very powerful. Hopefully ill be getting it out on some MTB trails soon.
